Salon Policies
Salon Information
- Our salon is located at 3467 rue Notre-Dame W. We are located near downtown which means you will need a minute to find a parking spot. Please come in advance if you need to find one (we do not offer parking unfortunately). Or you can use the metro and get off at Lionel Groulx or Place St-Henri. There is also the 35 or 36 bus that will drop you off near the salon.
- You may see our old location (3522 Notre-Dame O.) across the street on some GPS. We promise that we are at 3467 rue Notre-Dame W. It’s right across the street.
- The boutique and salon are open Wednesday to Saturday between 10am and 7pm.
- However, reception receives calls and messages from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm. If you would like assistance outside of these hours (between 5pm and 7pm) come to the salon and we will be happy to help you.

- We have curl analysts on the floor always ready to answer your product questions. However, we recommend scheduling a curl consultation appointment if you would like a more in-depth conversation about your hair.
- Our services for locs and for coloring new clients require a consultation at the salon before starting any service (handling or application).
- At this time, we do not offer any detangling services. We give ourselves the right to refuse to offer a service that requires detangling that we consider excessive. Please note that extra detangling means an extra fee on your bill.
Salon Policies
- Due to the high traffic and limited space, we ask that you come alone to your appointment. For services for children or those requiring assistance, we request that only one parent or guardian be present.
- For safety reasons, please do not leave your child(ren) unattended.
- In order to keep your Curl Spa smelling fresh and clean, please note that food is prohibited (conditions may apply) at the salon.
- On rainy or snowy days, we ask you to use the slippers located at the reception desk.
- Please use headphones when using your phone or any other mobile device.
- We keep our lost and found item for a period of 90 days. If they remain unclaimed we give them to charity.
Appointment, Booking and Purchasing Policies
- All clients will be asked to give a credit card number for their service appointment. In the event of a “no-show” or a cancellation made less than 48 hours in advance, the entirety of the scheduled service(s) will be charged to the client’s credit card.
- All no-shows and cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled curl consultation time will result in a $30 cancellation fee.
- All service appointments require a deposit of 50% of the service price. In the event of a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the deposit will not be refunded and the service will be charged on the credit card.
- Should a client be more than 15 minutes late, InHAIRitance reserves the right to modify the scheduled service(s) to fit the new time OR to reschedule (if no other appointment) to avoid delaying the stylist’s other appointments.
- Should a client be 30 minutes late, InHAIRitance reserves the right to cancel the appointment and reschedule it to avoid delaying the stylist’s other appointments. An appointment cancelled by InHAIRitance due to a client being 30 minutes or later will result in cancellation fees.
- Products (excluding jewelry, scarves, pillowcases, etc.) can be exchanged or returned for STORE CREDIT, within 14 days of the purchase date with the original receipt, provided that the product has not been used.
