How to Use

1)Apply generously to sectioned, detangled, wet hair from roots to ends.
2) Smooth down cuticles while defining curls.

For Wash & Go: Use a diffuser and dry completely for long-lasting hold and definition.

For Twist/Braid-Outs/Finger coils: Ensure hair is fully dry before take-down.

To Refresh: Smooth a small amount between palms and pat gently on curls.

For Edges: Apply small amounts to hairline or baby hairs and style as desired with fingers or a small brush.

Recommended use : 1x/week in wash day routine (last step before drying)

Will this gel make my curls crunchy?

Yes — the gel will form a temporary cast to provide strong hold and long-lasting definition. This is completely normal and helps lock in your curl pattern. The cast will naturally soften by the second or third day as your curls settle.

For instant softness and volume, you can spritz a bit of Mistify over your dried, defined curls and gently scrunch to break the cast sooner. Our gel is humectant-based, meaning it delivers hold and definition while helping keep curls soft, hydrated, and bouncy — not stiff.

Can I layer it with other products?

Yes! For best results, apply it after your Moisture Lock Pomade to lock in moisture and amplify definition.

Can I air dry my curls after applying?

We do not recommend it. Best results are obtained when dried with a hand dryer (with diffuser) or hooded dryer on medium heat as it allows the gel to fuse in the cuticles, making moisture and definition long lasting!
